Good morning lovely's!! I am so sorry for my absence this past month, I got back from Pari last week and then was straight into Christmas festivities! Belated post from my little Sydney girls trip This pretty little flawy top was the right item to make me feel pretty. Who says you can’t wears sheer during the summer hey? The key to that is to add fun details to make it have a “festive” feel. Instead of pairing it with white linen shorts I opted for my favourite pair of khaki Junk Clothing shorts for an unexpected touch. And of course my trusty Alexander wang boots to give it a a bit more of a dressy vibe too!

This past season there has been so many sheer tops but I like to stick to my favourite brands - those I trust! Like Sass and bide I know I can always rely on them to find exactly what I am looking for, even with a bit of a price tag!  I love this top and I have already styled it 3 other ways: With my white Sass and bide Viewer shorts, Leopard print jeans with a white cami and for a night out a tight little mini skirt, such a versatile top!

I'm sure you have noticed this past few weeks how much I have been loving white this summer. I think its so clean and classic especially the whole monochrome theme.. Never thought I would say this!!

Thanks for stopping by guys! Hope you all have a safe and happy New Years! xxxx

Coolangatta Rooftop

There was a time when my style only consisted of bohemian styles, lose fit dresses, bell sleeves and off the shoulder mini dresses. As I got older, I started experimenting more, trying different styles, and kind of outgrew the boho stage but lately, I've been coming back to my boho roots.

While online shopping at Fox and Charlie I stumbled across the 'Pixie Blouse'. I'm quite obsessed with their pieces especially this off the shoulder top. I wore it at Broadbeach for a late afternoon lunch and dressed it up with my favourite Aje Tartan skirt.

I also incorporated my most recent purchase (more an investment in my eyes ha ha ha) - Alexander Wang brown boots. I originally chucked them on to try and wear them in for Paris to avoid the nuisance of blisters, but was really feeling the mini skirt and boot vibe.

The little black dress

If you know me, you'll know my inherent obsession for all things bright and shiny. I rarely wear black, but when I do its going to the best little black dress out!

Misha Collection is one of those labels that I keep falling in love with season after season. I first saw this dress on one of the models on their website and immediately fell in love with the halter-neck and low back style. Initially I was going to style the dress with statement leopard print heels but I thought I would try keep it simple with minimal black and signature gold accessories. Of course I had to pop on my favourite MAC lady danger lipstick just to keep things interesting! Because seriously, how often can I rock all black with a red lip?

I really like the gold studded detail on my Lucy in the Sky heels which makes them rather classy! I'm definitely going to be styling this dress in different ways so i can wear it more often because its that good!
And a little BTS touch up, thank god for the rear vision mirror!

Back to Black

If you have followed me for long enough you would be well aware of my true love for playsuits. I love playsuits in all styles, sizes and colours! So that brings me to my newest purchase the "Ballerina Playsuit. Last week, I stumbled across a Pinterest board of "Black Rompers" and came across a gorgeous off the shoulder black playsuit and that is when I began my mission. I landed on the trusty to find this piece and it was exactly what I wanted and so much more!

I felt like keeping it quite plain, so paired it with my favourite Alexander Wang Diego Bag and simple gold accessories.

I love how delicately the playsuit falls off the shoulder, I really do feel like a ballerina again!

Spring Feelings

I’m a big fan of bell sleeves. A bell sleeve dress made out of crochet and in a pretty baby blue is seriously perfection. I got this dress from Mishkah Fashion and I couldn't wait to find the time to wear and style it. I paired it with my trusty Steve Madden stilettos and my favourite Grace Inspired Chocker.
I recently got a bunch of necklaces from Grace Inspired  - its my new accessory obsession for this spring. Don't worry.. I will NEVER give up my statement rings, but necklaces have been the runner up lately. I am obsessed with chockers, I think they dress up any outfit.  I love Grace Inspired and fell in love turquoise chocker, it’s different for me but I’m loving it!

Fashion Society Spring Runway

I had so much fun last Sunday afternoon hanging out at the Fashion Society Spring Runway event.  It was such a cool concept, I loved all the brands that were involved and can't forget the lovely Leila who put the event together. The runway show was filled with funky floral prints, wide brim hats and tons of everyday outfit inspiration. For more information and pictures head over to the Fashion Society Facebook page here!

Here are my three favourites outfits from the day:

Last month I had the absolute pleasure working with the talented Grace Markham. She is down to earth and so professional and I couldn't be happier I had the chance to work with such a wonderful person! Take a look at what we came up with.

I’m completely in love with this new brand Maravilla. Last week I posted my new lace kimono from them but I couldn't hold back from posting the adorable playsuit as well. I know it’s white and quite delicate material but paired properly with strappy sandals and a high neck dress it can be your go to throw-over for this upcoming season.

I got the dress from Friend of mine, which is a staple for summer with the sexy low back! Its beyond comfortable and so easy to throw on. I wore the hustler dress to death last summer which is important for those deadly Brisbane Summer days!
