Spring is here! And the summer pieces are starting to come out of hibernation in the closet. I wore the "Jessica dress" to the Ekka Races, and it could not have been a more perfect match. So thats what lead me to to shooting this second look. I paired the royal blue with one of my favourite Alexander Wang diego bags and my Steve madden orange stroppy heels just for that little pop of colour because for me, when placing complementary colours next to each other I find they create the strongest contrast and really reinforce each other. This look is one of my favourite  dresses from Kikki Lane. It fits like a glove and is perfect for this upcoming Spring because of the light material. Big thank you to the wonderful Yolanda from Brisbane Style for shooting this look for me, she is such a pleasure to work with! Click here to view her blog!

A day in the park with Pilgrim Clothing

Last week I had the pleasure of working with the amazing Yolanda from Brisbane Style.  (Check out her awesome blog!) First up I styled up the'On the Wildside Dress'" from Pilgrim Clothing
A pointy shoe is always a good staple to have, I also love to pair these shoes with a pair of skinny leg jeans

Shoes Lucy in the Sky| Dress Pilgrim Clothing | Clutch Grace inspired | Neckpiece Grace inspired | Watch Marc Jacobs
Ah! Couldn't get enough of this red Pilgrim Clothing dress. I paired it with my Lucy in the Sky shoes and a coral shaped gold neck piece from Grace inspired. I figured while I was getting ready I would keep it simple for the event and let the shoes do the talking. I’m in love with these Lucy in the Sky heels they spice up any look. I love the flow of the dress and it's super feminine and a perfect fit for the formal season - its definitely going to be in rotation for Spring.

Sundays Fashion The label.

Sundays Fashion the Label is a sydney based fashion brand. They are all about simplicity with an edge. Its easy to wear and made for every occasion. I decided to wear their "Polo Dress" to a seafood dinner on the River. I love the combination of the capped sleeves and knee length giving it that cute but sexy vibe. The V neck gave me a chance to show off my favorite piece of Grace Inspired jewerly and the off white let me pair my favorite coral accesories. Thanks so much Sundays!!

Alexander Wang Diego Bag, Steve Madden Shoes, Grace Inspired Necklace and MAC lady danger lipstick.

We Spent the night wining and dining at Brisbane's best Seafood restaurant Jellyfish. Was amazed with their espresso martinis, which they are apparently known for! I suggest you most definitely try one of these if you get the chance. We started the night off with their entree of oysters and Salt and Pepper Squid which happened to be the best squid I've ever tried. Main course followed with Baby Barramundi and a whole Market fish. Loved the Chilli, lime and coriander dressing on the market fish. Can't wait to head back to Jellyfish, great food, company and location what else could you ask for?
