Bonjour! Taking you back to the start of the year when I went to Paris and had the best time of my life! So happy I can finally share my travel diary of my amazing trip a couple of months ago… (i know sorry! It took forever to sort through the photos, etc!).I won’t ramble on too much, so I can leave you to enjoy the photos, but I do want to say that Paris is a beautiful city and so full of life. I spent the week feeling inspired by the long walks, the beautiful ornate buildings, sunsets, cute cafes everywhere, the energy, the abundance of macaroons and amazing views of just about anything. We stayed a week in Paris and in St Germain, which in my opinion is the best area to stay in terms of location. We rented a small apartment just off the Love lock bridge from Air BnB (highly recommend), first tip to you is to walk everywhere! Paris is small, its the best way to see and get to know the city!

Here we are visiting the Eiffel tower, which was freezing on this particular day! We climbed part of the way, and literally thought our toes were going to drop off! We finished off the day with a Seine cruise which gave us a great feel for the city as well as some amazing background history on Paris. Obviously Laduree is a given, we were lucky to be located just an easy 5 minute stroll from the St Germain store. Recommended flavours? Salted Caramel and Rose water

Beautiful Sacre Coeur, the best view in all the city and so peaceful inside the church.
I was inspired by the super effortless looks Parisian girls have… that means, basic pieces like a knit, white coat and skinnys! These Tony Bianco boots were the perfect touch to finish off the Parisian look I was aiming for!

The beautiful Chateau of Versailles, the use of water everywhere you turn in the gardens makes the whole place seem even more dreamlike and other worldly.
Versailles! Wow, my favourite part of the week by far. Versailles may only be a short train ride away from the French capital, but it feels like a whole other world. Its so beautiful and rich of history. The grounds even in the winter are breath taking, be sure to make your way down to Sandstone House (Petit Trianon) and her gardens, which were built as a haven for
Marie Antoinette to escape the intense life at court. Don't be fooled about the simple outside as it is what's inside that counts!
