Travel Diary: London girl

Gorgeous view from the London Eye!

Amazing Stroll through Hyde Park, such perfect weather!

Notting hill has such amazing little cafes and bakerys!

Notting Hill is filled with all sorts of little surprises! Loved this little street of pastel houses

Taking you back a few months ago when I visited the amazing London Town! This was my first time visiting London and contrary to what I have heard, it was a beautiful clear sunny winter weather. I don’t want to jump the gun, but I think London is one of my favorite cities- the street style, the hustle & bustle, the proper way of speaking English, the double-Decker buses, the bright red phone booths, HARRODS (Amazing) what's not to love? After relaxing in Nice for a few days, It felt good to be back in a big city and in a city that spoke English! On our first day we did plenty of sightseeing, we walked all over London! Just trying to soak up the culture and atmosphere.

After some sightseeing, we hit up Oxford Street, Carnaby Street, Regent Street, Kings Road and Notting Hill. Definitely picked up some great buys! After my first day in London, I realized that the English girls sense of style was impeccable! There was something amazing about the style in London, especially in areas like Notting Hill and Oxford Street. I decided to go for a preppy sort of look, pairing jeans with furs, crisp whites and hats of course! (Felt only natural in London town)

We stayed in a perfect location Chelsea, which happened to not be too far from Notting Hill. I spent Saturday morning strolling through Hyde Park which was cold but beautiful at this time of year, and finally found myself at the Portobello Road Markets. Here we wandered up and down the streets and picked up some delicious fresh food. To warm up out fingers and toes we stopped in for some afternoon tea at Gails Bakery. I know this is the big call and I don't know if this is because I was craving an Aussie coffee, but it was one of the best cappuccinos I have ever tried! (Seriously recommend trying out Gails bakery for lunch or afternoon tea, its so quiant!)

Anyway, I seriously love London, I felt very at home there and could seriously see myself living there sometime in the near future!
Thanks for stopping in xxx
